On June 2, according to the Hung Yen Provincial Market Management Department (QLTT), Market Management Team No. 8 has just conducted a surprise inspection of 6 business households displaying and selling goods showing signs of counterfeiting trademarks protected in Vietnam in the managed area.
Previously, from May 19 to May 31, Market Management Team No. 8 conducted surprise inspections of 6 establishments trading in clothing, footwear... in the area, discovering 330 units of products with branded labels, with a total value of more than 27 million VND.
The inspection team coordinated with functional forces to make an inspection record, temporarily seize all goods, and at the same time coordinate with the authorized unit to inspect and verify goods according to regulations.
Through inspection and verification, the above-mentioned goods are counterfeit trademarks being protected in Vietnam. Market Management Team No. 8 made a record of administrative violations, issued decisions to sanction administrative violations against 6 business households with a fine of 36 million VND and forced the business establishment to destroy all violating goods in accordance with the law.
Through inspection work, Market Management Team No. 8 continues to propagate, disseminate, and guide business establishments to strictly comply with the provisions of law, not to trade in counterfeit goods, goods of unknown origin, and goods infringing intellectual property rights.
