On May 28, Market Management Team No. 1 in coordination with professional units under the Hanoi Market Management Department discovered a large warehouse containing thousands of bottles of essential perfumes suspected of being counterfeit at a business location on Hang Giay Street, Dong Xuan Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City.
At the time of inspection, the authorities recorded a large number of perfume products bearing the brands of famous brands such as Giovani, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Armani... Notably, many products showed signs of being sophisticatedly counterfeit, from labels to canned forms.
According to legal representatives of some brands present at the scene, although on the market, genuine products are worth up to millions of VND, but at this warehouse, they have been illegally exported and sold.
Currently, the authorities are urgently deploying the work of counting and classifying the number of violating goods. The owner of this suspected fake shipment of perfume has not yet come to work with the authorities.
