On March 27, 2026, Vietnam Public Joint Stock Commercial Bank (PVcomBank) coordinated with the Tax Department (Ministry of Finance), Hanoi City Tax Department and tax authorities in 22 localities to organize a signing ceremony of cooperation to promote electronic tax payment and cashless payments according to Decree 68/2026/ND-CP of the Government.

Decree 68/2026/ND-CP, effective from March 5, 2026, stipulates that business households and individual businesses with revenue of 500 million VND/year or less are not subject to value-added tax and personal income tax. For business households with revenue exceeding this threshold, tax obligations will be determined according to arising revenue and declared according to the regulations of the tax authority. In that context, recording and transparentizing cash flow through bank accounts becomes an important factor, helping business households to declare and pay taxes in accordance with regulations.
Sharing at the event, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Lam - Chairman of PVcomBank's Board of Directors said: "Accompanying the Tax sector in the digital transformation process, modernizing management and supporting taxpayers is an important milestone for PVcomBank. We expect the two units to closely coordinate to develop a diverse product and service ecosystem, thereby helping business households improve management capacity, transparency in cash flow management and convenient and effective business model operation.

On the side of the Tax Department, Mr. Mai Son - Deputy Director of the Tax Department assessed that PVcomBank's set of solutions for business households not only contributes to promoting the construction of an increasingly modern and convenient tax management system, but also creates conditions for business households to gradually transform digitally, improving business operation efficiency towards sustainability.
The cooperation event between PVcomBank and the Tax Department is expected to bring practical solutions, helping business households comply with regulations on tax declaration and payment according to new methods, and at the same time form a systematic and transparent financial management habit, creating a foundation for stable development in the digital economy context.

Accompanying business households from the early days of conversion, Mr. Nguyen Van Dai - Director of the business household and micro-enterprise customer segment of PVcomBank said that many business households still face many difficulties when switching to the tax declaration mechanism.
According to Mr. Dai, the biggest challenge is the initial investment cost for equipment, sales software, accounting software, electronic invoices and digital signatures. In addition, many business households are still hesitant about tax declaration procedures because they believe that the process is still complicated, causing anxiety when implementing new regulations.
To support business households, PVcomBank has connected the banking system with tax authority software, allowing people to pay taxes directly on the banking application. At the same time, the bank is implementing support programs such as providing sales software, electronic invoices, payment equipment and preferential loan packages for business households with transparent cash flow and clear tax declarations.
Mr. Dai said that the bank's technology system allows for a clear separation between personal accounts and business household accounts, thereby helping to ensure cash flow transparency and supporting business households in the process of declaring and paying taxes according to regulations.
After a period of implementation, the initial solutions recorded positive results when many business households opened accounts, used banking applications to declare, pay taxes and manage cash flow.
Over the past time, PVcomBank has implemented a comprehensive sales solution for business household customers, focusing on three main groups of needs: flexible and convenient transactions and payments; transparent cash flow management and supplementing financial resources to serve production and business activities.
Accordingly, customers can open payment accounts correctly according to the registered business household name completely free of charge, and are provided with sales/money receiving support tools such as balance fluctuation announcers, POS machines and sales management software incentives.
Household business accounts at PVcomBank are connected to the PVConnect Biz digital banking application, helping customers transfer/receive money quickly, manage transactions centrally and pay taxes through connection with the eTax Mobile platform.
PVcomBank also implements credit solutions to serve production and business with preferential interest rates and flexible limits, meeting the actual needs of each business household.
