On November 5, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee informed that the Department of Industry and Trade has just issued a decision to administratively sanction Development Company No. 1 - 1TV Limited for violating legal regulations in the construction sector.
According to the records, Development Company No. 1 - LLC, headquartered in Chan Thinh commune, Lao Cai province, with Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc as General Director and legal representative, did not send a document requesting an inspection of the acceptance work according to the provisions of the law on construction.
Specifically, the enterprise did not send a document to the Department of Industry and Trade of Lao Cai province - the competent professional agency to request an inspection of the acceptance work for the tailings ore wastewater item (upgrade, adjustment in 2022) before putting it into operation and use.
The above behavior violates the provisions of Point b, Clause 1, Article 18 of Decree No. 16/2022/ND-CP of the Government on administrative sanctions in the construction sector.
For this violation, Development Company No. 1 - 1TV Company Limited was administratively fined 30 million VND and forced to issue a document requesting the Department of Industry and Trade to inspect and accept the project within 10 days from the date of receipt of the penalty decision.
If the enterprise does not voluntarily comply within the prescribed time limit, it will be forced to comply according to the provisions of law.
In addition, for each day of late payment, the company will have to pay an additional 0.05% of the total amount of unpaid fines.
