On November 27, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province issued a document requesting the construction unit and the stage supervision unit of the Da Lat Flower Festival to self-inspecte the design documents and construction quality.
Previously, the Department of Construction established a team to inspect the actual construction of this stage at Lam Vien Square.
Regarding legal documents, Gia Pham Trading Joint Stock Company (the unit assigned to organize the event) has not yet organized the appraisal and approval of the design of the stage scaffolding system and event stands according to the provisions of the Construction Law.
Currently, Gia Pham Trading Joint Stock Company has completed the construction of the stage scaffolding system. During the construction process, it was noted that the construction contractor and the supervision contractor did not have the capacity to perform construction activities.
Both units also do not have documents proving that they ensure safety conditions for the organization of the opening ceremony of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024.
To ensure the safety of the construction and the safety of event participants, Lam Dong Department of Construction requests Gia Pham Trading Joint Stock Company to organize quality inspection and assessment of the construction system's safety; be responsible for paying the costs of implementing the above contents due to the stage installation before the design documents are appraised and approved.
The construction unit shall send results and documents to the Department of Construction before November 28, 2024 for monitoring, supervision and inspection.
