HCMC - After merging with Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Duong, the total state budget revenue estimate in HCMC is only 697,395 billion VND.

On July 24, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council held the second session of the 10th term at the Binh Duong Exhibition Convention Center (Binh Duong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

At the conference, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee submitted a report on the state budget revenue and expenditure estimate in the area and the local budget allocation plan for 2025 of Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, the total estimated state budget revenue in the city in 2025 after the arrangement is 697,395 billion VND. Of which, the old Ho Chi Minh City was VND 520,425 billion, accounting for 74.6%; the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau was VND 102,650 billion, accounting for 14.7%; the old Binh Duong was VND 74,320 billion, accounting for 10.7%.

Regarding budget collection results, in the first 6 months of the year, Ho Chi Minh City achieved and exceeded the assigned estimate. Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City collected VND 371,978 billion, reaching 55.4%.

Regarding the city budget expenditure in 2025 after the arrangement, it is 282,062 billion VND. Of which, development expenditure is 150,331 billion VND, regular expenditure is 106,238 billion VND, interest payment is 1,286 billion VND...

As a result, in the first 6 months of the year, the city's local budget expenditure was VND96,791 billion, reaching 34.32%. Of which, development investment expenditure is 42,653 billion VND, regular expenditure reaches 48,694 billion VND...
