According to initial information, at around 7:20 a.m. the same day, a black star tree in the area near Do Doc Bao Street was suddenly knocked down by a strong wind. The tree trunk hit a car with license plate 77H-334.71 parked on the side of the road; the tree canopy hit a woman riding a motorbike traveling through the area, injuring the victim in the head. People and staff of the green park took the victim to the emergency room.

After the incident, the urban forces of Quy Nhon City were present at the scene to trim and clear fallen trees, ensuring traffic safety and order in the area.
Some people living near the incident said that the land between Nguyen Tat Thanh and Do Doc Bao streets often had trees uprooted every time there was strong wind, causing concern for road users.
On the same day, Mr. Pham Thanh Liem - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Quy Nhon Urban Light and Green Park Joint Stock Company - said that the unit had sent someone to coordinate in taking the victim to the hospital for treatment and making a record of the scene.
"There are many reasons for the tree to be uprooted, it is necessary to carefully check the expertise to determine. It is currently summer, so we mainly focus on pruning tall trees with many canopy. The simultaneous inspection and handling will be implemented during the rainy and stormy season. However, due to the impact of storm No. 1, the city is having strong winds, which is also a factor that causes trees to fall," said Mr. Liem.
Recorded on the same morning, in some coastal wards of Quy Nhon City, strong gusts of wind appeared, causing many trees to be uprooted, some propaganda banners were torn by the wind, posing a potential risk to the safety of traffic participants.
