On November 29, the Inspection Team of Market Management Team No. 1 under the Ho Chi Minh City Market Management Department said that it had coordinated with local police to conduct a surprise inspection of the headquarters and warehouse of T. Company Limited located in Go Vap District and Cu Chi District (Ho Chi Minh City).
The inspection discovered 62,460 boxes of crayons, 5,400 crayons that had not been packaged into product packaging, 2,920,000 paper stamps printed with Doraemon images (equivalent to 292 kg), 76,450 paper product packaging boxes printed with Doraemon images, and 750 kg of raw materials for producing crayons.
Market Management Team No. 1 has temporarily detained all goods including crayons, paper stamps, and paper product packaging boxes showing signs of intellectual property infringement of the Doraemon brand to continue verifying, clarifying, and handling according to legal regulations.
In the coming time, Market Management Team No. 1 will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to regularly exchange information, closely monitor and promote inspection and control to promptly detect, prevent and handle production and trade of smuggled goods, counterfeit goods, trade fraud, protect legitimate producers and traders and the rights of consumers.
