To receive the promotion, customers only need to prepare a message "TN5G7" to 191. The 6GB storage is only available on the 5G network and is valid until 24 hours of the registration date. It is estimated that about 5 million customers will enjoy this incentive, ready to join the 5G " date highway" and exploit the utilities of the digital ecosystem.

This is part of Viettel's strategy to implement the policy of Resolution 57 of the Politburo on digital economic development, contributing to the gradual realization of the national digital transformation vision.
5G Digital infrastructure promotes Vietnams digital economy
Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo sets a target that by 2030, the digital economy will account for at least 30% of national GDP, much higher than the global forecast (17% of global GDP by 2028 according to Forrester). To achieve this goal, Vietnam needs a solid network frequency downloader platform, in which 5G plays a key role as a connecting axis between humans, devices and the entire digital ecosystem.
With super-fast transmission capabilities, low latency and high stability, 5G is an essential infrastructure to deploy core technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Big Data. 5G is a necessary and sufficient condition for AI to be applied in real time, for billions of IoT devices to operate intelligently, so that big data becomes an effective exploitation resource.

Viettel pioneers 5G in Vietnam
Viettel has made rapid progress: After 1 month of launch (10.2024), Viettel has reached 1 million 5G subscribers (Korea or Thailand need about 1 year to reach the same mark). By May 2025, Viettel had 6 million 5G subscribers, with impressive density: in Hanoi, 1 in 6 people are Viettel 5G users, in Ho Chi Minh City, it is 1.8.
Not only is Viettel a pioneer in launching the 5G commercialization, it is also a pioneer in developing, investing in infrastructure, and improving the quality of the 5G network to serve people.
According to data published from the i-Speed platform of the Vietnam Internet Center, Viettel will lead in 5G network speed in April 2025. The average download speed of Viettel's 5G network in April 2025 reached 364.43 Mbps, while the upload speed was 97.6 Mbps, contributing to improving user experience and promoting digital transformation in Vietnam.
