Along with the launch of Internet packages with a minimum bandwidth of 300 Mbps applied to new customers; Viettel Telecom Corporation (Viettel Telecom) has upgraded the bandwidth of all Internet packages of old customers to a minimum speed of 300Mbps.
Thus, 100% of Viettel's customers using fixed internet will be able to use bandwidth of 300Mbps or more, demonstrating their commitment to bringing the best quality internet service to customers.
With this speed, users' Internet needs are met at a very high level such as downloading HD, 4K movies in just a few seconds, watching high-quality live videos (4K, even 8K); playing online games; studying and doing business online as well as using many devices at the same time without being pulled back and forth.

After upgrading the bandwidth, the minimum speed of the internet Viettel provides to customers is equivalent to the average speed of the Top 5 countries with the best internet infrastructure in the world (Singapore 336.45 Mbps, UAE 310.05 Mbps, Hong Kong (China) 305.71 Mbps, France with 287.44 Mbps and Iceland at 281.95 Mbps).
On the other hand, this increase also makes Viettel's internet "finish line early" compared to the Prime Minister's digital infrastructure development orientation for the period 2025-2030. Accordingly, by 2025, 90% of users in Vietnam will be able to access fixed Internet at an average speed of 200 Mbps and aim for 1 Gbps by 2030.
Install and support incident handling within 24 hours, add points when connecting to a new package or upgrading to an existing package
In addition to the free bandwidth upgrade policy, Viettel is also the network operator with the best customer service with survey, installation and incident handling support in just 24 hours.
With the consistent message "Creating technology - for sustainable development", in addition to improving service quality and continuously increasing bandwidth for customers, Viettel has continuously invested in the platform, upgrading fiber optic Internet infrastructure towards the long-term goal of increasing stability and expanding international connectivity. Specifically, Viettel is the only unit in Vietnam participating in investing in the Asia Direct Cable (ADC) optical cable line - the largest cable line with the current capacity, officially operating from December 2024.
Along with the 4 sea cables currently being exploited, LPN-IA, AAG, APG, AAE-1, the 5th ADC newly put into operation will be a powerful assistant, sharing the load with other routes, thereby contributing to improving network safety, national information security as well as improving the quality of telecommunications services provided by Viettel to customers.
This investment not only enhances Vietnam's Internet position in the region and the world but also helps meet the needs of connection in the digital age, promoting the development of national telecommunications infrastructure in the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
