On July 1, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen - Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee - chaired a reception and working session with the working delegation of YCH Group (Singapore) to learn about the investment environment and cooperation opportunities in the province.
At the working session, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen said that Hung Yen has many advantages to develop industry and logistics thanks to its location in the center of the Red River Delta region, with 3 economic development zones stretching across the area. The province's transport infrastructure system is increasingly complete, conveniently connected with seaports, airports and major economic centers in the region.
Along with promoting investment in industrial park infrastructure and logistics infrastructure according to planning, Hung Yen is creating great room to attract high-tech projects, supporting industries and logistics services.
Leaders of the Department of Construction also introduced to the working delegation the potential for development of transport and logistics infrastructure of the province. According to the plan, Hung Yen orients the development of 14 inland ports (ICDs), 16 logistics centers; build a synchronous transportation network connected to the belt lines of the Capital region; develop the "30-minute city" model and the Free Economic Zone to create motivation to attract investment in the coming time.
The two sides exchanged views on the direction of industrial and logistics development of the province as well as the possibility of cooperation in building a modern supply chain ecosystem, connecting high-tech enterprises with logistics infrastructure.

Representatives of YCH Group introduce the capacity and development orientation of the enterprise in the field of logistics and supply chain management. Currently, the group is one of the leading logistics enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region, is deploying the Vietnam SuperPort Logistics Center in Phu Tho province, and is studying to expand investment in some localities of Vietnam.
Highly appreciating Hung Yen's potential and development potential, representatives of YCH Group expressed their desire to study investment and expand Hung Yen's connection with logistics centers in the region; share experiences in building and operating supply chains, and developing multi-modal logistics.
At the same time, survey locations suitable for the business's development strategy and the province's logistics plan, research potential customer markets, and cooperate in training human resources for the logistics industry.
Concluding the working session, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen welcomed the YCH Group's interest in Hung Yen's investment environment; introduced some favorable locations for businesses to study and invest.
He affirmed that the province will create favorable conditions according to the provisions of law for businesses to survey and implement effective and long-term projects, and at the same time wished YCH Group to soon study and invest in developing smart logistics infrastructure, distribution centers and modern supply chains in Hung Yen.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assigned departments and branches to act as focal points, proactively coordinate and support businesses in the process of surveying and researching investment, aiming to soon implement specific cooperation projects, contributing to promoting economic growth and improving the province's competitiveness.
