On April 18, Hoa Phat Group's steel product production and business factory was inaugurated at Thuan Dao Industrial Park expansion, contributing to supplementing the production capacity of construction materials and increasing industrial - logistics chain links in the Southern region.
Attending the inauguration ceremony were leaders of Tay Ninh province and representatives of departments, branches and related businesses.
The factory is built on an area of about 15 hectares, with a total investment of about 3,000 billion VND, with a capacity of more than 400,000 tons of products per year. The main products include steel pipes, galvanized steel and steel coils serving the construction and supporting industries. The project also integrates a rooftop solar power system with a capacity of about 10 MW to supplement energy sources for production.

According to a business representative, putting the factory into operation contributes to increasing the supply capacity of materials to the Southern regional market, and at the same time supports the completion of the production - logistics chain in the industrial park.
Speaking at the event, leaders of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee said that the locality currently has more than 2,000 FDI projects with a total registered capital of over 25.5 billion USD and more than 3,100 domestic investment projects. Thuan Dao Industrial Park expansion alone has attracted 57 secondary projects, including 27 FDI projects, creating jobs for tens of thousands of workers.
The plant's operation is expected to continue to attract more businesses in the logistics production and service chain, contributing to improving the efficiency of industrial park infrastructure use and promoting local socio-economic development.
According to Dong Tam Industrial Park Joint Stock Company, Thuan Dao Industrial Park phase 1 has achieved a 100% occupancy rate, while the expanded area has reached over 95%, currently creating jobs for more than 40,000 workers.
In the context of Tay Ninh orienting industrial development associated with logistics and regional linkages, putting into operation a large-scale steel project is considered one of the factors contributing to increasing investment attraction in the locality in the coming time.
