The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued Decision No. 359/QD-UBND approving the investment policy and assigning the investor of the Social Housing Project in the New Urban Area in the East of Voi Town, Lang Giang District (now Lang Giang Commune, Bac Ninh Province).
According to the decision, the project has a total estimated investment capital of nearly 1,200 billion VND; the land use scale is about 1.25 hectares.
Of which, the construction land area is about 12,464m2; build 3 21-storey social housing buildings with a total area of about 4,630m2; the total floor area is about 82,984m2. The functional spaces in buildings include: Parking space (arranged on the 3rd and 4th floors); commercial service business space (maximum 20% of the total housing floor area of the project, arranged on the 1st, 2nd, 5th floors, 21st floor); apartments; community, public, and technical living spaces serving the entire building.
The project also builds auxiliary items, technical infrastructure systems outside the house within the CT2 land lot including: Technical house, parking lot, traffic system, landscape garden, power supply system, communication, water supply, rainwater drainage, wastewater drainage; fire prevention and fighting...
The project provides about 720 social housing apartments for living, providing accommodation for about 1,480 people. In addition, there is about 10,444m2 of floor area for business services and trade.
The investor implementing the project is Hung Minh Ban Mai Joint Stock Company, located at Lot HC, Trung Son - Ninh Son Industrial Cluster, Van Ha Ward, Bac Ninh Province.
The project's operation period is 50 years from the date the competent authority decides to allocate land and lease land (term of land allocation and lease according to the provisions of the law on land).
The project implementation progress is 39 months from the date of approval of the investment policy and the assignment of the investor.
According to a recent report on social housing development, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province said that up to now, Bac Ninh province has been implementing 90 social housing projects (increasing 13 projects in 2025), with a total area of about 311.18 hectares, an area of about 10.36 million m2 of floor space, expected to meet about 127,066 apartments when completed (in the period of 2022-2025, about 25,000 apartments have been completed).
As a result, in the first 9 months of the year, Bac Ninh province has completed 12,649 more apartments, reaching about 80% of the target assigned by the Prime Minister in 2025 (15,920 apartments).
Previously, on the afternoon of October 2, the inspection team of the Ministry of Construction led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh inspected the implementation of the project of 1 million social housing apartments in Bac Ninh province.
Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh assessed Bac Ninh province as having achieved many results, being one of the leading provinces in the country in social housing construction.
