Diverse designs
Recorded at stores specializing in selling decorations on many streets such as Hung Vuong, Ly Thai To, Le Duan, Pham Nhu Xuong, Nguyen Luong Bang..., many stores have been brilliant with Christmas colors. This year, the items are displayed with more diverse designs.

According to records, the price of decorative pine trees ranges from 230,000 to 1 million VND per tree depending on the height, design and decoration, some high-end types cost over 2 million VND.

Accessories such as balls, bells, ice covers, glasses, fringes or Santa Claus costumes are still a group of items that customers visit a lot, with prices ranging from 20,000 to 500,000 VND, depending on size and material.

In addition, snowmen and bear models are designed in a funny way, suitable for decoration in shops, cafes or family spaces.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu (Hoa Khanh ward, Da Nang city), an employee at a stationery store, said that this year, imported goods are more diverse, starting from November, Christmas decorations have been sold.

Ms. Dieu added that in addition to familiar items such as plastic pine trees, bows, bells, laurel wreaths, pork floss... this year the shop imported many new models. The models of northern bears, snowmen, and reindeer are designed with a variety of colors and styles. These products attract customers thanks to their eye-catching and easy-to-decorate shapes.
Lack of buyers
This year, the decorative maps are richer, from pine trees, Santa Claus, snowmen to Santa Claus porcelain cups, reindeer... designed quite specially. However, the market is still quiet because many customers prioritize economical shopping, limiting spending on new decorative items.

Ms. Tran Ngoc Han, a decorative seller on Hung Vuong Street, said that this year, customers bought decorations quite early, some customers have been shopping for them since the beginning of November. However, the number of visitors is still smaller than in previous years.
"Last year, around mid-November, shop and coffee shop owners bought them, while households usually started shopping for Christmas decorations in December. This year's goods are more diverse, but purchasing power has decreased significantly because many families still take advantage of the items they bought last year to use well, and this year's market is generally not as bustling as expected," said Ms. Han.

According to traders, the most stable number of customers over the years is still the owners of coffee shops, store systems, service establishments, restaurants, hotels... because these are opportunities for them to decorate their spaces and attract customers.
Ms. Le Huyen My (Hoa Khanh ward, Da Nang city) said that this year she did not buy a new pine tree but took advantage of the plastic pine trees she bought last year to decorate, saving costs and avoiding waste.

I only bought more balls, ice cubes, flashing lights and stars to make the pine tree stand out. This year's goods are beautiful and have many options, but to save money, I only choose the necessary items, buy a few small accessories to give the house a little Christmas atmosphere," said Ms. My.

These days, it is not difficult to see the image of large pine trees and Santa Claus decorated splendidly in central locations along the streets of Da Nang. All contribute to the bustling atmosphere of the holiday season.
