Recorded at supermarkets in Hanoi, Tet goods have been fully displayed on shelves. Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong (Dong Da ward, Hanoi) said that she often takes advantage of shopping on weekends or from quite early before Tet to be able to freely choose products, avoid crowded scenes, and payment is also faster. According to Ms. Phuong, at this time, when the number of customers is not too large, supermarket staff are very enthusiastic in supporting, making it more convenient to find and buy goods. Besides, as Tet approaches, supermarkets also implement many preferential programs to serve people's shopping needs.
PV's record at BRGMart supermarket, the preparation of goods for the peak shopping season at the end of the year has been deployed early. Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen - Deputy Director of BRGMart supermarket Pham Ngoc Thach (Hanoi) - said that the number of shoppers is currently increasing day by day. Right from the fourth quarter of 2025, the unit has developed a plan to import Tet goods, deploying continuous imports to ensure abundant supply, serving throughout the peak season. At the same time, the supermarket strengthens strict supervision of the quality of goods from input, preservation to when products reach consumers, ensuring food safety, clear origin, and full papers.
Not only at supermarkets, but also at traditional markets, small traders also actively import more goods, especially fruits and food to serve Tet, and the prices of some items have increased slightly compared to normal days.
According to Ms. Dang Huyen - a small trader selling fruits at Hang Be market, near Tet, input fruit prices have increased slightly, but the quality of goods is also more focused.
To serve the Tet shopping needs, my store prioritizes choosing beautiful and quality fruits. Although import prices have increased, we still try to maintain stable prices. Currently, Tet grapefruit branches are priced at about 100,000 VND/fruit, and Canh oranges are about 90,000 VND/kg," Ms. Huyen said.
To ensure supply during Tet, Ms. Huyen also proactively seeks reputable sources of goods, clean and safe fruits for people to use with peace of mind.
