Earn millions every day from Christmas cookie business

In recent days, Ms. Phan Thu Trang's shop (Hoang Mai, Hanoi) has become a sought-after address for many young people because it sells unique Christmas cookies with many eye-catching shapes.

With 10 years of experience in baking, Ms. Trang said that by converting the traditional method to cakes shaped like Santa Claus, reindeer and pine trees, she can earn a profit of 1.5 - 2 million VND/day.

"Cookies shaped like Santa Claus, reindeer, pine trees, candy canes, sleighs, and gingerbread are the most popular choices among young people during this time. The prices of Christmas cookies vary widely, depending on how complex or simple the decorations are. The cheapest cookie costs from VND8,500/piece and the most expensive is up to VND32,000/piece.

On average, my daily revenue is around 1 million VND/day, peaking on festival days when I can earn 1.5 - 2 million VND/day. The main customers of the store are children and young people, who often buy cakes as gifts or enjoy them with their families," said Ms. Trang.

According to Ms. Trang, there are three main reasons why this Christmas cake has become popular this Christmas season: because of its eye-catching and vivid shape. In addition, this type of cake also has a delicious flavor, the top of the cake is covered with a layer of sugar to stimulate the taste buds, this type of cake is also suitable for the cold air of winter, so it is increasingly popular.

"Every weekend, when going out with my daughter, my family often chooses shops that have Christmas cakes to go to, sip coffee and enjoy cakes to feel the festive atmosphere at the end of the year," said Ms. Quynh Nhu (Duong Quang Ham, Cau Giay, Hanoi).

Not only buying at stores, many young people also make Christmas cakes by themselves to eat and give to relatives and family. Tran Quynh Anh (Tay Ho, Hanoi) expressed her excitement when making Christmas cakes with funny shapes by herself to give to friends and family at the end of the year.

“I think there is no more precious gift than handmade gifts for loved ones. Nowadays, there are also many workshops that organize baking classes, these classes can also increase family connection when parents decorate cakes with their children. This also makes decorating Christmas cakes easier when there are professional bakers to guide,” Quynh Anh shared.
