Promoting high-tech agriculture, Dak Lak expects to attract large capital flows

Dak Lak - Local authorities have been and are focusing on promoting and attracting investment in high-tech agriculture to contribute to socio-economic development in the coming period.

On June 24, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dak Lak province said that in June 2026, the unit will organize the Workshop "Developing High-Tech Agriculture: Opportunities and Strategies for Businesses".

The event is expected to become an important forum to connect businesses, investors, experts and managers. Thereby, promoting the attraction of resources, technology, and investment projects in the field of high-tech agriculture in the province.

The workshop created a space for exchange and discussion on mechanisms, policies, current situation, potential and opportunities for high-tech agricultural development in the new period.

Dak Lak province will introduce the outstanding potentials and advantages of the local agricultural sector; promote policies to encourage and incentivize investment, and a list of investment attraction projects to businesses and investors inside and outside the province.

Through this, the locality expects to strengthen links, cooperation, attract capital and technology flows, maximize the development potential of the agricultural sector, towards the goal of rapid and sustainable development.

With the participation of management agencies, experts, businesses and investors, the conference is expected to open up many new cooperation opportunities, contributing to bringing Dak Lak agriculture to develop in a modern, green, and sustainable direction, becoming one of the important pillars in the province's socio-economic development strategy.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Bui Hong Quy - Director of Dak Lak Department of Agriculture and Environment said that one of the key contents of the conference is to assess the current situation, potentials, and advantages of the province in developing high-tech agriculture; and at the same time discuss the trends of applying science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in agricultural production.

According to Mr. Quy, the conference also focused on consulting on solutions on mechanisms and policies to attract large enterprises to invest in the field of high-tech agriculture; identifying difficulties and obstacles from practice to propose appropriate directions, creating more development opportunities for businesses in the coming time.

The Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dak Lak province said that the locality has a lot of potential for agricultural development with key products, advantages in raw material areas and the ability to expand modern production models. Promoting high-tech agriculture is considered an important direction to improve added value, increase product competitiveness, and at the same time meet the requirements of sustainable development in the context of integration.

After the workshop, levels, sectors, and localities will continue to implement programs and plans to develop high-tech agriculture in accordance with the Provincial Planning orientation, creating new impetus for socio-economic development.

Dak Lak province also affirmed its commitment to accompany and support businesses throughout the investment, operation and production expansion process, contributing to effectively exploiting agricultural potential, bringing the locality to develop in a green, modern and sustainable direction.
