In 2012, the billionaire said he was investing in Sequoia Capital to decide whether to invest in technology giants like Google, Yahoo and YouTube. A 2014 profile from Forbes listed Goguen as one of the top partners at Sequoia.
According to The New York Post, billionaire Micheal Goguen's assets are now worth about 5 billion USD. Most of the money he accumulated while working at Sequoia Capital, a technology-focused adventure investment company based in Menlo Park, California, USA.
Mr. Goguen started using some of that money to resonate in the Whitefish and surrounding areas. According to many sources, Mr. Goguen owns a 3,200-scale British plot of land outside Whitefish. The project includes a 7,000m2 house; another villa of more than 900m2 by the lake; a house for family members and staff, a 2,300m2 underground bunch designed to withstand nuclear explosions.
Notably, there were accusations that Mr. Goguen owned "safe houses" in the area where he had performed affairs with women, including those he had paid for.
This is not the first time that billionaire Goguen's sex life and financial transactions have been exposed. In 2016, the billionaire's ex-lover, Ms. Amber Laurel Baptiste, accused him of sexual, physical and emotional abuse, as well as human trafficking.
However, Ms. Baptiste eventually lost the lawsuit and was ordered to pay Goguen more than $10 million, as well as comply with the ban. A Goguen spokesperson said Ms. Baptiste was the only one who accused Goguen of wrongdoing.
