The implementation process will dredge a channel about 657m long, with a 50m wide bottom to an elevation of -4.6m; build 2 sand-blocking dykes upstream and downstream of the channel.
The project to build a logistics service area and a Cua Hoi - Xuan Pho storm shelter area with a total investment of 25 billion VND on an area of 1ha.
This project includes main items such as logistics service area, yard system, internal road, gate, fence, water supply system, lighting and some items that meet national standards of the storm shelter area for fishing vessels.
The project to dredge Xuan Hoi port and build a sand blockade on the sea side with a total investment of 200 billion VND, including items such as dredging the port's water area, building a sand blockade on the sea side for fishing ports.
The project to dredge the channel and water area in front of Cua Tot fishing port (Loc Ha commune) with an investment of 60 billion VND to dredge the channel and water area in front of the port with an area of 6 hectares, build a wharf and port equipment system.
Invest in a concentrated aquaculture area in Trung Hai village, Ky Hai commune (now Hai Ninh ward) with a total investment of 75 billion VND. The investment scale includes an inland production road of 3.78km, a water supply canal system of 8.22km, a wastewater drainage canal of 3.92km, cluster of 2 settling ponds, 3 transformer stations.
The aquaculture area is concentrated in Ky Tho commune (now Ky Khang commune) with an investment of 70 billion VND. The scale of investment in the construction of sewers, dykes, inland roads, water supply and drainage canals, power lines and renovation of settling and discharge ponds for the entire region.
Proposal to invest in aquaculture areas in Dinh Ban commune (now Thach Khe commune) with a total investment of 35 billion VND. This project will upgrade the water supply canal system and works on the route with a total length of more than 3km, the drainage canal system and works on the route with a total length of 2km and 2 traffic routes with a total length of nearly 3km.
Previously, implementing Decision 467 of 2019 of the Prime Minister on investment in projects "Construction and upgrading of fishing logistics service facilities" and the project "Restoration and regeneration of aquatic ecosystems and aquatic resources" from the compensation source of Hung Nghiep Formosa Steel Company Limited, Ha Tinh province, 400 billion VND was allocated to implement 4 projects.
Up to now, 3 projects have been completed, including: Investment in the construction of Cua Nhuong fishing port worth 280 billion VND; Investment in the construction of fishing logistics infrastructure at Cua Khau - Ky Ha storm shelter area worth 40 billion VND; Investment project to build and expand Thach Kim fishing port worth 60 billion VND.
In particular, the 20 billion VND dredging and remediation of the channel and entrance to the Cua Hoi - Xuan Pho storm shelter area has not been implemented because the functional unit believes that the funding source is too small, making it difficult to effectively implement, so it is proposed to allocate larger funding to implement a larger project.
