In the first 6 months of the year, all three provinces attracted more than 469 million USD in FDI capital; many large projects in social housing, urban and tourism projects were started; 1,878 newly registered enterprises (up 32%) with registered capital of more than 17.4 trillion VND, 818 enterprises returned to production and business activities.

With many famous tourist destinations such as Tam Dao (old Vinh Phuc), Hung Temple Historical Site (old Phu Tho province), Hoa Binh lake (old Hoa Binh province) has welcomed millions of tourists. According to statistics, the total number of tourists coming to visit and relax in the area reached more than 16 million, the total tourism revenue reached more than 9.2 trillion VND.
In particular, in the first 6 months of 2025, the total state budget revenue of all 3 old provinces reached nearly 31.7 trillion VND, equivalent to 78% of the estimate, up 36.4% over the same period in 2024 and reaching 63.4% of the first scenario for the whole year of 2025.

Regarding public investment disbursement, it reached 44.2% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister. Many major projects have been accelerated in site clearance and construction such as the 500 KV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project, the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway connection project with Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway...
