According to LSP, the petrochemical industry in Vietnam is still relatively new, so workers can only develop sustainably when they are given practical opportunities, and at the same time are systematically transferred technology, knowledge and skills.
Therefore, LSP has invested in human resource training with more than 58,000 hours of training in 2025, both in professional skills and soft skills such as leadership skills, with on-site training support and direct tutoring from Thai experts.
In particular, the training process is also applied with Operation Training Simulation (OTS) to improve practical skills. At the same time, digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions are gradually being applied to support training and improve operational efficiency.
According to LSP, through training in nghiệp vụ and skills, it shows that businesses always place their trust in the local labor force, thereby constantly creating conditions and enabling opportunities for Vietnamese workers by assigning more responsibilities, developing skills and sharing knowledge.
LSP leaders said that Long Son Petrochemical Plant temporarily stopped operating from mid-May 2026 but still maintains jobs for all employees. The enterprise takes advantage of this period to invest deeply in human resource development.
In 2026, LSP has set a target to deploy more than 60,000 hours of training through more than 300 courses. By mid-June, the business had deployed more than 26,200 hours of training through 134 courses, including more than 1,300 hours of online E-learning, strongly and proactively shifting to digital learning methods.
