Right from noon, at major shopping centers in the central area of Ho Chi Minh City such as Vincom Center Dong Khoi, Takashimaya, Van Hanh Mall... a large number of customers flocked in. Parking areas quickly filled, many places had to regulate vehicles to enter and exit continuously. Inside, fashion stalls, cosmetics, food stalls and cinemas were all crowded with customers.

Recorded at Van Hanh Mall, the fashion shopping area continuously has customers coming in and out. Many stores are implementing discount programs from 20-50%, attracting many shoppers.
In the culinary area, the overload situation is clear, some restaurants have to issue queue numbers, customers wait from 45-60 minutes to have a table.

Ms. Ngoc Lam (resident of Dien Hong ward) said that her family chose the shopping center as a place to have fun on the last day of the holiday because it is convenient. "The weather is hot, so coming here is both cool and has a place to eat and shop for the whole family. However, the eateries are quite crowded, so it takes quite a long time to have a table" - Ms. Lam shared.

Similarly, Mr. Tran Tung Duong (resident of Hanh Thong ward) said that he took advantage of taking his wife and children to play at Vincom Plaza Quang Trung before returning to work. "My family chose the shopping center because there is space for children to play and adults to eat and drink. Fashion stores also have incentives, so shopping is also convenient" - Mr. Duong said.
At children's entertainment areas and cinemas, the number of visitors also recorded a sudden increase. Many movie screenings were fully booked early, especially "hot" movies.

According to records of shopping center management units, purchasing power during this year's holiday increased compared to normal days, mainly focusing on groups of fast-moving consumer goods, processed foods and fashion. The fact that many retail systems proactively increase inventory and launch promotional programs has contributed to stimulating consumer demand.
