VietinBank iConnect DX: The most groundbreaking API and banking initiative in Vietnam

    Recently, the prestigious magazine The Asian Banker awarded the API Initiative and Most Breakthrough Bank in Vietnam to the VietinBank iConnect DX platform.

    VietinBank iConnect DX is an initiative implemented by VietinBank to optimize the VietinBank iConnect open-end banking platform with a diverse portfolio of digital products and flexible implementation team. The number of customers using services and transactions has grown spectacularly after the initiative was implemented. To date, over 300 API have been deployed with the participation of more than 400 partners, serving nearly 20 million customers with a variety of newly deployed products and services.

    The VietinBank iConnect DX initiative has helped simplify the connection of systems for school and hospital customer groups, with the advent of new products and services such as identification accounts, smartPOS, smartKiosk, etc.; supported the development of comprehensive cash flow management solutions for the merchant group; developed new generation ERP connection solutions for large enterprises and FDI enterprises. Since then, VietinBank iConnect DX has helped businesses reduce costs, significantly save implementation time and contribute to the overall growth of businesses.

    Thanks to the above breakthroughs, The Asian Banker awarded the API initiative and the most innovative bank in Vietnam 2025 to VietinBank iConnect DX. This is a recognition of the Bank's continuous efforts to improve and develop the API and open banking platform to provide an increasingly diverse range of modern and multi-utility solutions, products and services, as well as optimize customer experience.

    VietinBank is currently one of the pioneering banks in deploying an open banking platform with an "open" mindset in cooperation with technology partners and Fintech.
