Revenue exceeds plan, profits increase
According to the business results report for the second quarter of 2025, Vietjet recorded aviation revenue of VND 17,681 billion, pre-tax profit of VND 775 billion, up 52.3% over the same period in 2024.
As a result of the consolidated business results, Vietjet achieved revenue of VND17,885 billion and VND815 billion in pre-tax profit, up 151.5% over the same period in 2024. Supporting revenue reached more than VND 6,893 billion, continuing to contribute significantly to total revenue.

In the first six months of 2025, Vietjet achieved aviation revenue of VND35,600 billion, pre-tax profit reached nearly VND1,600 billion, up 37% over the same period. Consolidated revenue reached VND35,800 billion, pre-tax profit reached over VND1,600 billion, up 65% over the same period.
By the end of the second quarter of 2025, Vietjet will operate a total of 154 routes (109 international routes and 45 domestic routes). The airline operates nearly 41,000 flights, transporting 7.5 million passengers. The total output of goods transported in the quarter reached nearly 29 thousand tons.

As of June 30, 2025, Vietjet's total assets reached more than VND 112.330 trillion, the borrowing/equity ratio was 1.76 times and the liquidity ratio was 1.44 times at a good liquidity level in the aviation industry.
The balance of cash, bank deposits and cash equivalent, short-term investment reached more than VND 9.001 trillion, combined with a limit on working capital, ensuring the company's ability to pay quickly.
Vietjet contributed more than VND 4.528 trillion in direct and indirect taxes and fees in the first six months of 2025.
Vietjet has a technical reliability of 99.53%. The airline is rated by AirlineRatings as The Worlds Best Low-Cost Airline and is among the top safety airlines.
The second quarter of 2025 marks a new step forward in Vietjet's international flight network expansion strategy. The airline has opened direct flights from Nha Trang to three major Russian cities of Vladivostok, Khabarovsk and Blagoveshchensk.
In the Chinese market, the airline has put into operation flights connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai, meeting the increasingly vibrant demand for travel and trade. At the same time, Vietjet will open new routes to India, Japan, and increase the frequency of domestic flights to Da Nang, Nha Trang, Tuy Hoa, etc.
Investing in and developing a modern fleet
With positive results in finance and operations, Vietjet constantly invests in and develops a modern fleet.
Vietjet ordered 20 more A330neo wide-body aircraft with Airbus during the visit to Vietnam by French President Macron, bringing the total number of A330neo aircraft ordered to 40. Vietjet becomes the airline with the largest order for A330neo aircraft.
At the 2025 Paris Air Show, Vietjet has ordered 100 new aircraft and 50 options to buy new Airbus A321neo aircraft. This is the largest aircraft order at Paris Air Show 2025, putting Vietjet in the top 10 airlines with the largest aircraft fleet in the world.
Self-service of the land, won the bid for the project in Long Thanh
Vietjet is responsible for providing ground service at the country's largest airports, thereby strengthening service quality control, optimizing operational efficiency and bringing interesting experiences to passengers.
Vietjet has been approved by the Ministry of Construction for the winning bids for the Project to invest in the construction and business of aircraft maintenance services No. 3 and No. 4 at Long Thanh airport. This is one of the projects in the aircraft maintenance complex serving domestic airlines, ensuring national interests, meeting the exploitation requirements of Long Thanh International Airport Phase 1.
At the end of the second quarter of 2025, Vietjet continuously affirmed its position as a new-generation airline with positive business results, individual and consolidated pre-tax profits reaching 78 and 75% of the annual plan, respectively.
