Authorities in Vinh Phuc province have just discovered a business household selling a large quantity of smuggled sausages and spicy pork.

On January 14, the Market Management Department of Vinh Phuc province informed that, implementing the Peak Plan for market inspection, control, anti-smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the last months of 2024 and before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2025, the unit coordinated with the Department of Police Investigation of Crimes on Corruption, Economy, Smuggling, and Environment of Vinh Phuc Provincial Police to inspect a number of business households in the area.

At the time of checking the business household of Nguyen Dang Hai (address: La Sen Residential Group, Tho Tang Town, Vinh Tuong District, Vinh Phuc Province), the authorities discovered many products of Grape Wine and Sparkling Wine without a business license as prescribed.

The working group also discovered that the above facility was trading in goods including 3,000 sausage products (Made in China); 1,980 sausage products under the PINAUNG SAUSAGE brand (Made in China); 3,780 bags of spicy pork (Made in China).

All of the above goods are foreign-made food products without Vietnamese labels. The business representative could not present invoices or documents proving the origin of the goods.

Currently, the Market Management force has drawn up a record of administrative violations and temporarily detained all violating goods for handling according to regulations.
