KOLs and KOCs are not simply content creators on digital platforms, but have become an important factor in the media and advertising ecosystem.

This is the opinion of Ms. Ninh Thi Thu Huong, Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the launching ceremony of the KOLs and KOCs Club of Vietnam held on March 31.

According to Ms. Ninh Thi Thu Huong, the dissemination of information about KOLs/KOCs not only affects consumer decisions but also affects awareness, habits and social culture. Therefore, the establishment of the KOLs and KOCs Club of Vietnam is an important step forward in building a professional, transparent and responsible digital advertising environment.

In particular, KOLs/KOCs (celebrity influencers/close consumers) when participating in digital advertising campaigns need to be aware of legal regulations on advertising, consumer protection and communication. Each KOL/KOC also needs to spread positive values and healthy content, contributing to building a civilized and humane cyberspace. Actively participate in community activities, use your influence to promote meaningful campaigns for society.

"I hope that the KOLs and KOCs Club of Vietnam will connect the community with businesses and management agencies, promote professional activities, build professional ethics and market orientation according to international standards, contributing to enhancing the prestige of the industry in the context of digital economic integration" - Ms. Ninh Thi Thu Huong shared.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Dan Thanh - General Director of MVOT Group, Head of the Club's Board of Directors -: "The KOLs and KOCs Club of Vietnam is an official organization, we are committed to working with relevant ministries, departments and branches to develop standards and professional codes of conduct for the KOLs and KOCs community.

This is not only a big step forward in shaping a transparent digital advertising environment, but also creating a sustainable development ecosystem where KOLs and KOCs can operate professionally, responsibly and actively contribute to Vietnam's digital economy.

The KOLs and KOCs Club of Vietnam will implement periodic and thematic programs to realize the set goals. The establishment of the Vietnam KOLs and KOCs Club not only strengthens the position of the advertising and digital content industry, but also meets the increasingly high requirements of the market for transparency and professionalism.

Through a unified operating mechanism, the Club helps promote the process of professionalizing KOLs and KOCs, building a solid legal foundation, and at the same time orienting the development of responsible community culture.

The club also contributes to supporting businesses to access the market more effectively, providing real-life and consistent content creators in the communication message. On the side of state agencies, the Club plays an important role in advising, supervising, ensuring that related policies are implemented in accordance with the law and in accordance with reality.
