Gold price today 14.9: "Falling" to 2-week bottom, investors "room up"

    Gold prices today, September 14, continued to fall, falling far from the 37 million VND/tael mark and reaching the bottom of the 2 weeks, USD increased in price. Domestic gold prices fell along with world gold prices.

    Opening this morning's trading session (September 14), DOJI Group listed the price of SJC gold at 36.54-36.64 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out), down 70 thousand VND for buying and down 80 thousand VND for selling compared to yesterday's trading session.

    SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau is listed at 36.56 - 36.63 million VND/tael, down 60 thousand VND for buying and down 70 thousand VND for selling compared to the same time yesterday. Price of plain round gold rings Dragon Thang Long gold is trading at: 35.94 - 36.39 million VND/tael (buy - sell), down 170 thousand VND in both directions compared to the previous trading session.

    At Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ), the price of SJC gold bars was listed at 36.45 - 36.65 million VND/tael (buy - sell), down 110,000 VND for buying, down 100,000 VND for selling compared to the same time in yesterday's trading session.

    The reason for today's sharp decline in gold prices is due to the impact of the re- decline in world gold prices. According to PNJ experts, the trading volume of gold bars in yesterday's trading session was quite stable, the total trading volume of gold bars at PNJ Company reached more than 170 VND, of which the buying rate accounted for more than 43% and the selling rate accounted for 57%.

    The difference between domestic SJC gold bar prices and world gold prices is at VND460 thousand/tael, an increase of VND200 thousand/tael compared to yesterday, calculated according to today's exchange rate at Vietcombank at VND22,760/USD.

    The world gold price is currently listed at 1,321.20 - 1,322.20 USD/ounce (buy - sell).

    9999 gold price for December delivery on the New York Comex decreased by 0.3% to 1,324.50 USD/ounce.

    Asian stocks had a decline yesterday, after reaching a 10-year peak. The US dollar was kept stable after the US inflation data for August was released.

    North Korean military tensions will still be the cause of affecting gold prices in the coming time. North Korea has voiced opposition to the UN decision on sanctions.

    US President Donal Trump recently issued a strong message prohibiting a Chinese company from acquiring a US-based company to produce chips.

    On the foreign exchange market, the central exchange rate announced by the State Bank on the morning of September 14 was 22,441 VND/USD, up 3 VND compared to the previous session. Vietcombank's USD exchange rate today is listed at 22,690 - 22,760 VND/USD (buy - sell), unchanged from the previous trading session.
