    Gold prices today, October 4, continue to decline. The US stock market's S&P 500 recorded the highest mark in history and the USD increased the most in 7 weeks, which were factors that pushed gold prices down

    Opening this morning's trading session (October 4), DOJI Group listed the price of SJC gold at 36.39-36.47 million VND/tael, down 70 thousand VND in both directions compared to yesterday's trading session.

    SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau was listed at 36.38-36.44 million VND/tael, down 50,000 VND in both directions compared to the same time yesterday. Gold price of smooth round Quotation Dragon Gold Thang Long is trading at: 35.28-35.73 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out), down 90 thousand VND in both directions compared to yesterday.

    At Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ), the price of SJC gold bars listed in Hanoi was at 36.37-36.45 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out), down 40 thousand VND in both directions compared to the same time in yesterday's trading session.

    The world gold price (spot gold) is currently listed at 1275.40 - 1276.40 USD/ounce (buy - sell).

    9999 gold price for December delivery on the New York Comex decreased by 1.5 USD to 1273.20 USD/ounce.

    Gold prices continued to decline slightly after falling "unstoppable" to a 6-week low. This is the third consecutive session that gold prices have plummeted. Meanwhile, the US stock market's S&P 500 recorded the highest mark in history. The world stock market began to recover in the trading session yesterday afternoon.

    The USD topped out for 6 weeks thanks to positive US economic data, while the Euro fell to a 7-week low.

    The first resistance level was recorded at 1282.80 USD and then 1290 USD. The first support level recorded for the day was 1271 USD and then 1265 USD.

    In the foreign exchange market, the central exchange rate announced by the State Bank on the morning of October 4 was VND 22,473/USD, unchanged from the previous session. Vietcombank's USD exchange rate today is listed at 22,690 - 22,760 VND/USD (buy - sell), unchanged from the previous trading session.
