These photos were taken by Hannes Joubert, a tour guide at Kruger National Park (South Africa) at the end of April and were just posted by Daily Mail.
The group of tourists at that time witnessed a rare battle between the cow-headed elephant and the two lions, with a rather surprising ending.
The first part of the video shows the cow-headed swallow in a completely unfavorable position, when it was knocked down by two lions to the ground to prepare for meat. However, at the fragile border with death, the cow-headed swallow suddenly arose and fought fiercely to save her life.
After a moment of traveling, the brave cow-headed elephant bulge kicked a lion, then caused the other lion to bend its tail and run away.
