According to the Traffic Police Department, from 12:00 on November 18 to 12:00 on November 19, 2025, the AI camera system at km20 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway recorded 10,882 vehicles traveling at an average speed of 68.6 km/h.
Thereby, the automatic device detects 5 cases of car drivers not wearing seat belts and does not record any cases of using phones while driving.
All violations have been reported to the vehicle owner for handling according to regulations.
At the same time, data from AI cameras piloted at the Pham Van Bach - Hoang Quan Chi intersection (Hanoi) recorded 11 cases of motorcyclists and motorbikes not wearing helmets; 54 cases of not obeying traffic light signals and not detecting cases of going in the wrong direction.
The AI camera system on Le Van Luong Street also did not record any cases of going in the wrong lane.
The above violations have been transferred to Hanoi City Police and functional units to carry out handling procedures according to regulations.

People should note that the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulating administrative sanctions for violations of road traffic safety and order; deduction of points, restoration of driving license points take effect from January 1, 2025.
Accordingly, some violations of road traffic safety order have increased fines compared to before, such as drivers running red lights being fined 18-20 million VND (old level was 4-6 million VND). Motorbikes running red lights will be fined from 4 to 6 million VND.
