Here are some ways to use oats to treat acne at home, shared by dermatologist Dr. DM Mahajan.

1. Oatmeal and tea tree oil mask

Mix 2 tablespoons of finely ground oatmeal with 1 tablespoon of tea tree oil and a few drops of water to form a paste.

Apply the mixture to clean face and leave for 10 to 15 minutes.

Rinse with warm water.

2. Oatmeal and turmeric mask

Mix 2 tablespoons of finely ground oatmeal with 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder and a few drops of water to form a paste.

Apply the mixture to clean face and leave for 10 to 15 minutes.

Rinse with warm water.

3. Oatmeal and lemon juice mask

Mix 2 tablespoons of finely ground oatmeal with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and a few drops of water to form a paste.

Apply the mixture to clean face and leave for 10 to 15 minutes.

Rinse with warm water.

4. Oatmeal and honey mask

Mix 2 tablespoons of finely ground oatmeal with 1 tablespoon of honey and a few drops of water to form a paste.

Apply the mixture to clean face and leave for 15 to 20 minutes.

Rinse with warm water.

5. Oatmeal and yogurt mask

Mix 2 tablespoons of finely ground oatmeal with 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt and a few drops of water to form a paste.

Apply the mixture to clean face and leave for 15 to 20 minutes.

Rinse with warm water.
