1. Banana and spinach smoothie
Ingredients: 1 ripe banana, 1 cup fresh spinach, 1 cup almond milk, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, 1 tablespoon honey.
Making:
- Cut the banana into pieces.
- Blend banana, spinach, almond milk, chia seeds and honey until smooth.
2. Avocado smoothie
Ingredients: 1 ripe avocado, 1 cup spinach, 1 cup coconut water, 1/2 banana, 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
Making:
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the seed and scoop out the flesh.
- Blend the avocado, spinach, coconut water, banana and lemon juice until smooth.
3. Pineapple and banana smoothie
Ingredients: 1 cup diced pineapple, 1 banana, 1 cup almond milk, 1 tablespoon honey.
Making:
- Blend pineapple, banana and honey until smooth.
- Filter the smoothie to remove the pulp and enjoy immediately.
4. Prune and Oatmeal Smoothie
Ingredients: 1 cup pitted prunes, 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 cup water, 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed.
Making:
- Blend the above ingredients and enjoy this nutritious drink immediately.
5. Pear and chia seed smoothie
Ingredients: 1 pear, peeled and cored, 1/2 cup chia seeds, 1 cup almond milk, 1 tablespoon honey.
Making:
- Cut the pear into pieces and blend the pear, chia seeds, almond milk and honey.
- Pour into a glass and let the chia seeds sit for a few minutes until thickened.
