Happiness is built and nurtured by sharing

Born into a family with difficult circumstances, together for 24 years, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Tam and Ms. Pham Thi Ve - workers of Hue Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company - have built a happy family together.

The apartment building always has love

Recalling the days when he first came to the company 29 years ago, then met, admired, and loved Ms. Ve - who worked at the company a few years earlier, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Tam was still extremely touched. Mr. Tam said that both husband and wife came from the countryside, their families were poor, and they did not have the conditions to study. Perhaps that's why they could sympathize and share with each other from the days when they were not married, until now when their two sons have grown up.

In 2002, they decided to get married and live together. The wedding ceremony of the couple was held at the company Hall with the help of the General Director, brothers and sisters and the Trade Union organization. For many years, Mr. and Mrs. Tam have not forgotten this honor because at that time the family circumstances of both sides were extremely difficult. For them, it was this sharing and help that contributed to creating a happy home that could not be compared.

10-15 years ago, when the company had not organized lunch breaks, every morning they would gather rice to take to work together. When they had children, he and she still shared housework, childcare, and teaching children. When she was away, he was both a father and a mother of the children and vice versa.

Ms. Ve works on a production line, and he is an electrician, so when his child was young, on the day they both worked night shifts, he took his child to the station - where he was on duty - to have a flat surface for his child to sleep. Mr. Tam always thought of his wife and Ms. Ve always thought of her husband. The two held hands tightly to overcome the difficulties of life, endure hardship together, work hard together. And now, it's time for them to enjoy the sweet fruit because their two sons have grown up as their parents dreamed.

Happiness is when children grow up

Feeling the hardship of not having the conditions to study, they decided to take care of their children's education properly. "You must be better than your parents to be happy" - Mr. Tam said. Nurturing the dream of their children studying well and nurturing the aspiration to rise up of both children, he guided and trained their children to be independent, to know how to love and help their parents from a young age. After completing the company's job, he always spends time tutoring his children, during which time she takes care of housework.

Also because they were born and raised in the loving and caring arms of their parents, despite difficult family circumstances, the two siblings still studied very well, were obedient and listened to their parents. Throughout 12 years of study, they always achieved excellent students, including specializing in mathematics at Quoc Hoc Hue High School. For 5 consecutive years, Minh Quan - the eldest son - achieved excellent student status, and is currently a student at Aix Marseille Polytechnic University (France).

In particular, Quan was honored to be admitted to the Party at the age of 18, when he was still studying at Quoc Hoc Hue School. Minh Tri - the youngest son, has been a good student for 2 consecutive years and is currently studying at INSA Centre Val de Loire (France). Speaking about his children, Mr. Tam did not hide his pride. He said: The children are hardworking, hardworking, not competitive. Knowing that their family circumstances are difficult and their parents are hardworking, the two siblings are striving to study together. In 8th grade, he rode his bicycle to school every day at a school 7km from home.

The achievements of the Minh Quan and Minh Tri brothers today are built not only with the love and teaching of their parents but also with the sharing of scholarship funds. The valuable support from the Pacific Scholarship Fund and the Odon Valle Scholarship Fund are also important factors that give the two brothers wings to realize their parents' dreams as well as their own aspirations.

The two brothers Minh Quan and Minh Tri also just left their parents' arms to reach a new horizon. Minh Tri went first, Minh Quan just set off for France on March 11, 2026. The children went to school, now only Mr. Tam and Ms. Ve are in the 30m2 collective house. Mr. Tam joked: Now my wife and I are newlyweds, my salary is 9 million VND/month, my wife's pension is 3.6 million. Now life is less difficult. What my wife and I find happiest is that our children have grown up, they are much better than us.

The happiness of Mr. Tam and Ms. Ve is built and nurtured by the sacrifice, love, and mutual help of each family member. The happiness of this worker's family also has the contribution and sharing of the Trade Union organization. As mentioned above, the Company's Trade Union is a factor in organizing the wedding for them. The Vietnam Textile and Garment Union has recognized and rewarded Minh Quan and Minh Tri. Thereby sharing difficulties with the family and importantly contributing to giving wings to the two children of Mr. Tam and Ms. Ve in their studies.

Happiness with Mr. Tam and Mrs. Ve is even more meaningful, even more cherished when they constantly love and share with each other. Now she has retired, and he is still working. They are satisfied with their current happiness - happiness created and nurtured persistently by them.
