After many changes in history, the Vietnamese people have stood firm to this day. In the book "Vietnamese Experience", author Nguyen Van Hau looks back at the historical journey that our nation has gone through. Through each success and failure, the author analyzes and draw lessons for today and tomorrow.
Although he knew that this job was extremely difficult, author Nguyen Van Hau was still not afraid. Published in 1957, the book is still valid today. After that, the book was reprinted by Tre Publishing House with many useful information for readers.
In the book, Nguyen Van Hau took the reader to look back on the history of the nation. He reviewed the national brands and their meanings, generalized natural characteristics and population. In particular, he briefly recounted the struggles from the North to the "Western" period, then learned lessons about culture, society, politics, military ... Readers have the opportunity to review the historical process, event and historical figures. The book is highly generalized, which is a useful document for historical learning.
In the preface, the author wrote: In learning from the ancients, we try to conquer the painful experiences of a great struggle of thousands of years, unique in human history.
Therefore, in this book, after analyzing the old story, we left a part to criticize the accurate actions of the ancients to find lessons to learn from and make capital for today's and tomorrow's lives".
In the book, the author mentions more than 1,000 years of fighting with white bones, blood, sweat, tears, and a heart of grief like a poor poor poor. The famous and unknown heroes took turns, one fell, the other stood up, from Trung, Trieu to Ly, Mai, Phung... to crystallize the actions of Ngo Quyen on the Bach Dang River.
Then from then until the 19th century, our people always fought against the Han people. Recently, under the French colonial period, many people have sacrificed for the independence of the Fatherland in dark, desolate Helms or on the tops of the islands.
The fighting spirit of Vietnamese history is manifested through the heroic actions of Ly Thuong Kiet, Tran Hung Dao, Le Loi; and the abundant creativity of Dinh Tien Hoang, Nguyen Thuyen, Le Van Hu, Quang Trung.
That soul is hidden in the hearts of ordinary people, living pure and rustic in the middle of the field, but eagerly sacrificing the destiny to protect the river when there are foreign invaders. That soul struggle is silver throughout the country, mixed with fierce inflammation, the breeze of the South through the beach beach, creating a long -distance music of history.
However, the autonomous soul still lives strongly among the rural people, crystallizing into a special popular literature, that is, the story of the folk tale. This literary text is only transmitted through word of mouth, very abundant and wise, expressing the rustic, noble, lenient, playful and mischievous spirit of our people. It also proves the resilience of the nation, certainly not giving up submitting or integrating with foreign culture.
To conclude the national struggle for thousands of years, the author emphasized that Vietnamese history is the history of the continuous struggle to preserve the last drop of blood and soil from strong, fierce, and violent waves of invasion.
Finally, author Nguyen Van Hau believes that in order to understand Vietnamese history, we must sympathize with the spirit of the soul, noble spirit, wise reason, and the will to be self-reliant, independent, and self-reliant of our ancestors throughout the struggle program to seek survival, continuation, and development.
That affection, reason and will have been passed down from generation to generation, transforming into an extremely abundant and strong spiritual courage, helping the nation maintain its personality through many thunderstorms and gusts.
