The sea of Vietnam is so beautiful! It's a fairy tale, world", "That's right, I really like it! Please feel, enjoy the sea, Natalia - two Russian old ladies slowly wade through the Nha Trang sea in their squeaky, smiling letters to each other; Sveta, what did you lack at last night when you drank tomato and tomato smoothies in Russia? I said, when you are in Vietnam, you must drink pineapple juice and papaya banana smoothie!, I remember, Maxim, I will drink mango smoothie at this lunch. The Nha Trang sea water is salty! How much I like swimming!, the dialogue of the middle-aged couple of Russian couple suddenly caught my ears.
Thank you Nha Trang, Warm greetings from Yakusk 2025, Kazan, Moskva, Pyatigorsk, Iraksk, Blagoveshchensk, Miami, Australia, Russia, Spasibo... The walls of more than 10 square meters in the Hanh restaurant (Ton Dan street, Nha Trang ward) are thick with pencripts and paintings by tourists from all over the world, the most of whom are still Russian visitors.
Nha Trang's sea and sky in the summer of 2025 are clear green, crowded with tourists, and thousands of people speak Russian easily. 30 years, I have not heard or seen so many Russian words at the same time. The memories of Russia suddenly " exploded".
There are articles from more than 30 years ago. The 2,000-word article "Remembering Russia" (in the Report - Record section), solemnly introduced in the center of page 1, illustrated by a portrait of a Russian girl by industrialist Duong Minh Long on the beautiful "Suoi in the forest" painting by Ivan Ivanovich Shishkin (1832 - 1898) - a famous Russian landscape artist.
After that, during the 2 years of Moscow living with his family, after writing a few articles (thinking that I am still a newspaper person, and even following the order of the Editorial Secretary), I was surprised to learn that under my articles, I was declared by the editorial board as "Special Envoy of the newspaper in Moscow". It is an honor, because at that time, Vietnamese press did not have many journalists and reporters residing abroad.
I tried my best to work as a permanent reporter, translator, and synthesisist, commenting on a number of political - cultural - social issues of Russia in 1995 - 1997. The excerpts sent via may; photos by article (if not) are mainly taken care of by the students of the Editorial Secretary, International Committee of the newspaper, professional and thoughtful. Looking back on many years of working, I feel very lucky to have always received support and cooperation at the right time from all my colleagues!
On November 19, 1997, the Internet officially appeared in Vietnam, but there was no way for The Special Envoy of a newspaper in Moscow to receive an online article link; every week my father often cycled to the headquarters of the Permanent Agency to receive a report with an article from his daughter. Some newspapers keep some, some don't.
In the years 1999 - 2012, Lao Dong Newspaper featured a series of articles with a lot of information about Russia and Russia by Vietnamese collaborator - journalist and student Elena Zubtsova. Through the publishing office, I was able to connect with her and worked and interviewed her twice.
In an interview with Elena Zubtsova in June 2024, published in Lao Dong Newspaper at the weekend, we shared our views: The young generations of Russia and Vietnam need to contribute more to promoting the relationship between the two countries, because it is the young people who are the force to build a new model of a multipolar world in the future.

Tropical space of the Vietnam Cultural Festival in Moscow - the latest article by Thuy An - student of the Faculty of Journalism - Moscow National University (MGU) published in Lao Dong Newspaper (No. 176/2025). Regarding this event, the article in Lao Dong Newspaper and the photo series sent to Dan Viet Newspaper are the results of my 3rd year internship - Thuy An said.
From 2023 to present, Thuy An has had more than 10 articles published in Lao Dong Newspaper. From Moscow, she shared with us: In the summer of 2024, I had a successful internship at the Permanent Agency and the Media Center of Lao Dong Newspaper. With the knowledge I have received from the lectures and the dedicated guidance of the Newspaper, including journalist Nam Duong, I have expanded my vision of journalism and the Vietnamese working class. This summer 2025, from Moscow, I have 2 articles - 2 final products for the internship. So happy!
I read articles online. The family even sent me a note. I save each of my articles in Lao Dong Newspaper with a link and a paper newspaper. When I introduced my article to the newspaper, the Russian teachers were very happy and curious to ask me about Vietnamese Press in general and Lao Dong Newspaper in particular. I also let my Russian and Ecuadoran friends see how Vietnamese Newspapers are.
From 30 - 40 years ago to now, 15 - 20 Vietnamese students have studied at the Faculty of Newspapers - MGU, many of whom have become professional journalists and photographers with solid skills, with the status of domestic and foreign press.
Writing each article is a time for me to learn a trade, learn to write Vietnamese. I often follow my mother's advice, compare the original sent back and the published version to see where I am poor at writing, where I am wrong, and where I express it when I am young. I would like to thank Lao Dong Newspaper for editing, from photo captions to me to have articles about Russia, from Russia with a lot of information and technical adjustments on how to write to send to Vietnamese readers.
Most of my long articles are published in Lao Dong Newspaper on weekends. Through research, I learned that weekend newspapers have a good tradition of favoring and creating space for young writers, collaborators, artists/painters...
My first article published in Lao Dong Newspaper at the weekend was in the summer of 2019 (the year I was 17 years old), after a happy, memorable trip to Russia.
I often write about culture and education - two issues that are close to me. As in an article, I wrote: I understand that the tradition of educational cooperation between the Russian Federation and Vietnam has been around for more than 70 years. The cooperation relationship is not only limited to the Russian Federation's annual scholarship grant granting to Vietnam, but also to cooperation programs between educational institutions of the two sides".
And in the latest article: "During the 75-year journey of diplomatic relations, culture has always been a bridge connecting the beautiful feelings between the people of Vietnam and the Russian Federation".
I hope my articles are like small parallel bars joined on the bridge connecting the friendship between Russia and Vietnam".
