Trade unions take care of building happy families for workers and employees
Although different in occupation and job position, each worker and employee wishes to build a happy family. And, the Trade Union organization has contributed a significant part in realizing that wish through many rich activities. One of them is taking care of children of union members and workers so that they can feel secure in their work.
For example, the Trade Union of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward (Hanoi) coordinated with the Ward Health Station to organize a communication course "Techniques for preventing accidents, injuries and drowning" for teenagers and children who are children of workers in the area. This activity shows that the Ward Trade Union has grasped the needs of union members and workers in ensuring the safety of their children. The program is a practical gift that the Trade Union organization sends to each union member and worker's family. When children are safe and equipped with knowledge to protect themselves from life's risks, especially summer drowning, parents themselves will truly feel secure at work.

In particular, in recent years, the image of Vietnamese workers has not only shone with the spirit of hard work, creativity and will to overcome difficulties, but has also been depicted through beautiful stories about love, sharing and responsibility in each family home.
Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor spoke at the Ceremony to commend typical families of workers, civil servants, and laborers nationwide in the period 2021 - 2026.
With the goal of "connecting love, building the country", in recent years, trade union levels across the country have had many practical activities to propagate and honor the good values of family. Especially on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Vietnam Family Day (June 28, 2001 - June 28, 2026), the VGCL organized the commendation of 95 typical families of workers, civil servants and laborers nationwide in the period 2021 - 2026.
