Joining hands for the homeland

In the endless flow of time, April 30, 1975 was an unforgettable milestone in the history of the Vietnamese people, when the South was liberated and the country was completely unified.

50 years later, the country has overcome difficulties to rise strongly. These historic days are not only an opportunity for each of us to recall the heroic past but also a time to absorb and affirm the value of love for our homeland and country - a love that is not only nurtured through the years of resistance but also enduring in the hearts of every child of Vietnam, especially in the new era.

Love for the country: A source of endless strength

The history of Vietnam has witnessed many arduous wars, millions of lives have fallen to protect each piece of homeland. It was during those war years that love for the country was not just a concept, but became an ideal, a belief and a driving force for every Vietnamese person to overcome all challenges.

From heroes and soldiers on the battlefield to the Vietnamese people in the rear, all have one thing in common: That is love for the country, the desire for peace, freedom and territorial integrity.

The song "Connecting a big arm" was composed by musician Trinh Cong Son in 1968, after the fierce Mau Than Tet attacks. Many documents recorded that at 3:00 p.m. on April 30, 1975, Saigon Radio issued an introduction: "I, musician Trinh Cong Son, am very happy and touched to meet and talk with all the artists in this Southern Vietnam.

Today is the dream day for all of us. That is the day we completely liberated the country. Just like your dream of independence, freedom and unity. well today we have achieved all those results".

And he sang the lyrics of "Noi tay cuon gia" without a musical accompaniment and a message: "Today, I would like to sing the song "Noi tay cuon gia" again, there is no wind player on the stage. The big bracelet is really connected.

And the touching lyrics resounded:

Uneven-handed forests and mountains connect the sea

We carry our arms around forever to connect with Ha paint

The vast land where our brothers return

Meet happily like a sand storm spinning into the open sky

Our hands held a full set of Vietnamese rings...

"Connecting big arms" is a playful and strong melody. The lively rhythms in the 2/4 rhythm of a song, like the rush of the group. Especially the lyrics, earnest but heroic, as a signal of the entire Vietnamese people, from the mountains to the far sea, from the North to the South, from the poor countryside to the big street, both living and the dead, holding each other's hands to form a unified circle in Vietnam.

In the book "grade 9 Musicushroom" ( volumes 1) a few years ago, the song "Connecting a Big arms" was included in the curriculum and it was clearly recorded: "The Song of Connecting a Big arms" by musician Trinh Cong Son is the affectionate voice of Vietnamese patriots, wishing to hold hands and stand shoulder to shoulder to create a peaceful, peaceful life to reach the noble goal of a unified, independent, peaceful and happy Vietnam".

The Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day is not only a symbol of military victory but also a victory of the spirit of solidarity. From soldiers on the battlefield to people in each village and city, all are united in one common goal: To unify the country, to build a strong and free Vietnam.

The ideal of solidarity does not stop in the past but also the foundation for the development of the country today. We still need to continue to unite to overcome challenges in the new period, such as difficulties in the process of reform and socio -economic development. Solidarity is not only a call in wartime but also a motto for the country to develop in peacetime.

The country is the homeland

50 years later, Vietnam has had a great change. With the strong development of economy, culture, and society, today's generation still maintains and promotes the love of homeland in the new context. However, in an era of strong international integration, love for the homeland is not only an affection, but must also be expressed through concrete actions to build a strong country.

In the journey to the new era, the era of national growth, the arrangement of provinces and cities and streamlining the apparatus that people are paying attention to is creating a source of energy for development, creating new development space.

At the National Conference thoroughly grasped and implemented the Resolution of the 11th Central Conference Session XIII, on the morning of April 16, General Secretary To Lam emphasized: "It can be said that this is a historical conference, deciding very important issues of breakthrough issues of the new revolutionary period, creating new atmosphere, new impulses for comprehensive renovation career, bringing the country into a new development century."

To do that, the determination is not enough. This is also the period when the solidarity needs to be put on top. The ideal of solidarity does not stop in the past but also the foundation for the development of the country today. We still need to continue to unite to overcome challenges in the new period, such as difficulties in the process of reform and socio -economic development.

There are concerns about merging, especially merging provinces. There are still people worried because their hometown is no longer mentioned. However, that is a minority, a very high percentage of people who agree when people are asked for opinions and unite with the Party's major decisions.

Also at the above conference, General Secretary To Lam said: Faced with the new development requirements of the country, we must change our thinking, unify our ideological awareness, surpass ourselves, sacrifice personal interests for the common good of the country. Overcoming difficulties and worries, overcoming normal psychology and habits, overcoming regional psychology and mood to move towards a broader vision - the country is the homeland.

Changing thinking, focusing on building a national foundation, is the most practical way to express love for the country.

The merger of provinces and cities is a clear demonstration of this vision. Each step in administrative consolidation not only improves management efficiency but also connects all regions of the country, eliminating existing geographical and psychological gaps.

When the provinces merged, the spirit of solidarity and unanimity of the people from North to the South was tightened. People in different areas not only share resources but also join hands to build a prosperous Vietnam, regardless of the locality. This harmony is not only an administrative change, but also a imbued with the thinking of "the country is the homeland" in every citizen, making the love and pride of the nation more and more strong and unified.

Along with the development of the country, the consolidation of provinces and cities brings a brighter future, where people from all over are aware that, whether in the North, Central or South, we all live together under one roof, sharing the same pride of Vietnam - the homeland.

Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, love for the homeland is being strongly expressed, not only stopping at emotions but also being expressed through concrete actions. Every citizen, every Vietnamese person is responsible for contributing to the development of the country. Not only in protecting borders, but also in economic development activities, environmental protection and maintaining national peace and security.

Love of the country, with the values that we are inheriting and building, is the link between the past and the present, between generations in series. The victories in the past are not only memories but also the inspiration for us to continue developing the country, preserving and promoting good values.

That love is always burning in the hearts of every Vietnamese person, becoming a strong source of motivation to build a peaceful, developed and strong Vietnam. Over the past 50 years, the love of the homeland has overcome many challenges and will continue to lead our country forward, constantly rising in the new century.

"The country is the homeland", and every Vietnamese person is the one who protects and builds that homeland, so that our country can forever develop, lasting with time.

In faith and optimism, on these historic and important anniversaries, let's sing along to "Connecting the Great arms" to sing:

"Flag connecting happy night winds to happy days

Blood flow connecting homologous hearts

built humanity in the new day

... And a smile on my lips".
