Although existing in the same area, each row of houses has a different situation, creating a diverse picture of the process of moving the living space of the people. Some rows of houses have been surrounded by corrugated iron, becoming prohibited areas, just waiting for the day to renovate. These buildings are no longer safe and meet the living needs of residents when they are too old and seriously degraded.
Meanwhile, some other blocks of houses are in the process of relocating people, to make room for new development projects, such as modern high-rise apartments, to meet the increasing housing demand in Hai Phong City. However, there are still old collective houses where people are still living, although the conditions are not as good as before.

Facing this strong shift, they still have to stick with it, some people happily accept innovation, but some people also regret the old living space, where there are many attached memories. It is not yet known when these rows of houses will be renovated or replaced, and during the waiting period, they will become a symbol of the transition between the past and the future. The entire area, from the rows of houses surrounded by corrugated iron to the rows of houses being relocated, creates a strong transition scene, marking the change of Hai Phong City.
The transformation from old apartment buildings to high-rise apartments is not only a change in living space but also reflects the development of the city, with the desire to create a new, more modern and more convenient look for the people. However, this is not without challenges, as relocation and resettlement are not always smooth, and the construction of high-rise apartment buildings also needs a synchronous plan to ensure the rights of old residents. But through that, Hai Phong City is gradually changing towards a more sustainable and modern future, suitable for the development needs of society.
In the future, when modern high-rise apartments completely replace old apartment buildings, Hai Phong residents will be able to live in a more spacious environment, but the memory of old apartment buildings will still be an unforgettable part of the urban history of this city.
