Tet Sum vay (Reunion Tet) carries both history and connection
On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" took place at May 10 Corporation. The special thing this year is that "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" also means being the opening activity for a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of establishment (1946 - 2026) - 80 springs of connection filled with love at May 10.
With that meaning, besides activities imbued with the flavor of traditional Tet such as Chung cake wrapping contests, jellied meat cooking, gac sticky rice, bee sweet soup or folk games, cultural exchanges, there is also the space "Village Market on Tet Day" including 8 booths with the theme "80 Springs of May 10".
There are camps such as: "Spring of war zone", "Spring of subsidy" to depict the past time, and there are also camps "Continuing Spring" - the continuation of history, of life. These camps vividly recreate May 10's historical journey, accompanying the country's history.
Through this, today's generation of officials, union members, and workers understand more about the history of the "second home" - the place they are attached to, dedicating their intelligence and strength. Regarding the banh chung wrapping and jellied meat cooking competition, the finished products after a night of boiling (with banh chung), freezing (with jellied meat) have been completed and displayed for the Organizing Committee to score and announce the results.
Especially at the Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party program, the organizing committee presented Tet gifts to 303 workers in difficult circumstances, 27 students of Long Bien Vocational College, 55 retired officials. Tet gifts have the practical companionship and support of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union and Phuc Loi Ward Trade Union.
In addition to the program "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party" organized at the Corporation, the Trade Union of May 10 Corporation also participates in the program "Tet Reunion" in 2026 with the theme "Gratitude to the Party" organized by the Phuc Loi Ward Trade Union (the cantonment area of the Corporation).
This is a meaningful activity within the series of programs to care for Tet for union members and workers on the occasion of Binh Ngo Spring, aiming to share, connect love and spread the message of a warm and peaceful Spring to every home. Within the framework of the program, the Traditional Chung cake wrapping and Tet dish cooking contest with the theme "Green Chung cake - Peaceful Tet" took place.
This activity attracted the participation of 10 teams from grassroots trade unions in the ward. After 45 minutes, the teams brought square, beautiful Chung cake products, showing dexterity, solidarity and the beauty of traditional Tet culture of the nation.
As a result, May 10's team was awarded the Third Prize by the organizers, recognizing the efforts and active participation of union members and workers. Also here, the connection between the Ward Trade Union and the grassroots Trade Union became closer when 10 union members and workers in difficult circumstances of May 10 Corporation were given Tet gifts by Phuc Loi Ward Trade Union, each worth 1 million VND, contributing to encouraging and sharing so that workers can celebrate Tet fully and warmly...
Unexpected joys at Tet Sum vay
With the motto "All union members and workers have Tet, celebrate Tet", on the occasion of Binh Ngo Tet 2026, the Capital's Trade Union levels continue to synchronously implement many practical care activities such as: "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", "Trade Union Tet Market", visiting and giving 83,000 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
The Hanoi Labor Federation also supported 5,500 bus tickets for union members and workers; and at the same time organized vehicles to take 1,200 workers belonging to the Trade Union of High-Tech Parks and Hanoi Industrial Parks back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet safely and conveniently.
At the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" organized by the Trade Union of High-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks of Hanoi City at the Workers' Housing Area of Thien Loc commune, union members and workers participated in a lucky draw program, bringing unexpected joy and excitement in the last days of the year.
Ms. Ha Thi Tu, a worker at Fujikin Vietnam Limited Company, who was lucky enough to win the motorbike prize, emotionally shared that she was really surprised to receive the Special Prize.
For her, after 15 years of attachment to the company, the industrial park and the Trade Union organization, this gift is not only of material value but also a great source of encouragement, helping her to be more convenient in traveling, serving work as well as daily life.
For other workers present at the program, they all shared the joy of receiving Tet gifts from the Trade Union organization.
