Bac Giang - Tan Yen District Labor Federation presented funds and accepted Trade Union Shelters for union members in difficult circumstances.

Authorized by the Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, the Tan Yen District Federation of Labor has just organized a fund-raising and acceptance ceremony for the construction of a new house from the Bac Giang Provincial Trade Union Shelter Fund for the family of union member Duong Thi Quynh - Lien Son Secondary School Trade Union.

Union member Duong Thi Quynh was born in 1992, is a teacher at Lien Son Secondary School, permanent address: Vuon Dinh Residential Group, Cao Thuong Town, Tan Yen District, Bac Giang Province.

Ms. Quynh is in difficult circumstances: Her husband works far away, she is living with her parents-in-law who are unable to work. Ms. Quynh is the main breadwinner in the family, every quarter she has to go to Hanoi Hospital for periodic xa tri (thyroid xa in the neck). The parents and parents-in-law had to live in an old, dilapidated house.

Ms. Quynh's family built a new house with a total construction cost of about 600 million VND, of which: Support fund from the Bac Giang Provincial Trade Union Shelter Fund was 30,000,000 VND; family budget was 180,000,000 VND; relatives and siblings supported 200,000,000 VND; agency and unit support fund was 70,000,000 VND; working day and material support was 60,000,000 VND; other sources were 60,000,000 VND.

After more than 3 months of construction, the project was completed and has now been put into use.
