In 2025, trade union activities in Bac Ninh province continued to change positively in the context of merging, implementing organizational arrangement and streamlining; being assessed as the locality that established commune and ward trade unions earliest in the country and operated stably and effectively.
To date, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation is directly managing nearly 2,000 grassroots trade unions, businesses, and non-business units that do not receive 100% salary from the state budget with more than 631.5 thousand union members.
The large scale of union members, wide distribution, young and large labor force pose many challenges, but with solidarity and efforts, trade union levels in the province have effectively implemented activities, gradually affirming the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
The work of grasping the situation of labor relations, thoughts and aspirations of workers has been strengthened; many recommendations related to salaries, social insurance, working conditions, and shift meals have been promptly reflected to functional agencies and employers, contributing to limiting disputes and collective work stoppages, and maintaining production stability.
Activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers continue to be highlights. Major programs such as "Tet Reunion - Spring Gratitude to the Party", "Trade Union Tet Market", "Trade Union Bus", "0-dong Booth", "Trade Union Warm House"... are deployed synchronously and widely, supporting tens of thousands of union members and workers in difficult circumstances and far from home.
In particular, the "Trade Union Meal" program continues to become a bright spot with 508 grassroots trade unions coordinating with employers to organize, 253,000 turns of union members and workers benefiting with a total budget of more than 15.3 billion VND.
At the conference, delegates exchanged and analyzed the difficulties and limitations in implementing tasks in 2025; shared experiences from grassroots operations. At the same time, they highly agreed on 8 key tasks in 2026.
In which, focusing on guiding and directing grassroots trade unions and enterprises to coordinate in organizing dialogue, negotiation, signing, and implementation of collective labor agreements; continuing to innovate propaganda work, raising awareness, knowledge, and skills for trade union officials, union members, and workers; launching emulation movements associated with improving labor productivity, promptly commending and spreading typical examples in promoting initiatives and technical improvements.
In addition, proactively survey and grasp the situation of units and businesses to effectively implement the task of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions; strengthen women's work, promote gender equality; continue to pay attention to improving the quality of financial work, inspection and supervision of trade unions at all levels.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Tran Huy Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding results of the provincial trade union levels in 2025.
Regarding the key tasks for 2026, the comrade emphasized that this is a year of particularly important significance, the National Party Congress and the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Councils at all levels take place, requiring trade union organizations to continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation.
In which, trade union levels need to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the resolutions and directives of the Party, policies and laws of the State directly related to workers and trade union organizations.
Seriously implement the directions of the Provincial Party Secretary, especially on strengthening the leadership of the Party Committee in the work of developing trade union organizations and preparing to organize dialogue conferences between provincial leaders and workers.
At the same time, improve the quality and effectiveness of inspection and supervision work; proactively coordinate to promptly resolve conflicts arising in labor relations; care for, represent and protect the legitimate and lawful rights of workers, ensuring that programs and activities are substantive, targeted, have social depth and sustainability.
Along with that, continue to launch and effectively organize patriotic emulation movements among workers and laborers, associated with digital transformation, application of science and technology, improving skills, labor discipline and industrial style.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation organized the posthumous awarding of the Third-class Labor Medal to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Viet - former Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation to collectives and individuals; and presented 50 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances.
