On January 11, at the Dong Son Sports Center football field, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation in coordination with the Bac Ninh Provincial Youth Union organized the Opening Ceremony of the Men's Football Tournament to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026) and to celebrate the success of the 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Bac - Head of the Trade Union Work Committee, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Doan Duc Han - Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Committee, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The football tournament gathers 8 participating teams (4 teams established by the Provincial Youth Union and 4 teams established by the Provincial Labor Federation). The players are youth union members, trade union members and workers working at agencies, units and businesses in Bac Ninh province. The tournament is expected to close on February 1, 2026.

The tournament is organized to practically celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the success of the 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030 towards the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that the tournament is a precious opportunity for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers, youth union members of Bac Ninh province to improve health and spirit, create a working environment, improve physical strength and endurance, and especially an opportunity for units to exchange, connect, and share experiences. Thereby, together building office culture and business culture to be increasingly active, united, and support each other in performing tasks.
The Organizing Committee believes that the tournament will be successful, leaving many beautiful imprints in the hearts of athletes and fans.
