Storm No. 10, storm No. 11 and the floods after the storm caused severe damage to property, crops, and livestock for people in the Northern and North Central provinces in general and many families of union members and workers working in industrial parks and clusters in Bac Ninh province in particular.
Many families of union members and workers were seriously affected: their houses had their roofs blown off, damaged and deeply flooded; rice, crops, and seafood were flooded and damaged; livestock and poultry died... causing great economic losses for families.
In order to share difficulties and help workers soon stabilize their lives after the impact of storms and floods, the Board of Directors in coordination with the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (SEV) organized a support handover to 345 union members and workers affected, with a total support amount: 217,500,000 VND.
This practical support will be a great source of encouragement, helping union members and workers affected to promptly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.
