This is the first Provincial Federation of Labor to sign a coordination program "Improving the welfare of union members and workers" with the General Confederation Guest House - Ho Chi Minh City Branch after implementing the previous merger policy between Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces.
Accordingly, the Guest Villa of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - Ho Chi Minh City Branch will regularly inform the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor about services and programs for "Union member welfare" for trade unions at all levels and union members and workers.
At the same time, develop contents and incentives for trade union organizations and union members at all levels, organize resorts, sightseeing and exchange programs for union members and workers in Bac Ninh province; Provide effective and quality services for the activities of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor, ensure the best quality and incentives for union members and workers when using the services of the Trade Union Guest House.
The Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor will promote, advertise and introduce the activities of the General Confederation of Labor Guest House - Ho Chi Minh City Branch, especially the Trade Union Guest House system, introduce the welfare program for union members, workers and grassroots trade unions; Guide and encourage trade unions at all levels in the city, union members and workers to use the services of the Trade Union Guest House.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Hai - Director of the General Confederation of Labor Guest House - Ho Chi Minh City Branch said that the goal of the combination between the two sides is to concretize the care for union members and workers; strengthen coordination and information exchange between the General Confederation of Labor Guest House - Ho Chi Minh City Branch and the Bac Ninh Labor Federation on organizing workers' movements and activities of the Vietnam Trade Union organization, promptly advise the Standing Committee of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on related issues.
At the same time, enhance the exchange of experiences, linking activities to care for union officials, union members, workers and civil servants under the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor; Improve the professional efficiency of the Office and business activities of the General Confederation Guest House - Ho Chi Minh City Branch, change awareness of the image of the Trade Union Guest House, contributing to the successful implementation of the unit's political tasks.
Mr. Thach Van Chung - Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor - said that after the merger, Bac Ninh province has nearly 600,000 union members with 2,150 grassroots unions, including many enterprises with tens of thousands of workers and union members.
It is expected that by the end of the 2025 - 2030 term, when the occupancy rate in the province's industrial parks increases, the number of grassroots unions in the province will increase to about 4,000 and the number of union members will be about one million people.
Bac Ninh province has organized many training programs to improve the qualifications and skills of trade union activities for grassroots trade union officials, thereby contributing to increasing the effectiveness of the provincial trade union organization. The signing of cooperation between the two sides will contribute to improving welfare, bringing real value to better care for union members, workers, and grassroots union officials in Bac Ninh province.
In the immediate future, the Guest Villa of the General Confederation - Ho Chi Minh City Branch will have incentives for the two provincial teams participating in the Final Round of the 2025 Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament held at Ton Duc Thang University.
