On the afternoon of October 26, the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor held a launching ceremony for 2 football teams of workers in Bac Ninh province to participate in the Final Round of the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament in Ho Chi Minh City.
Attending the ceremony were: Ms. Tran Thi Hang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Pham Van Thinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Bui The Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies; Mr. Wei Van Tuyen - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Labor Federation: Le Duc Tho, Nguyen Manh Hung, Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc.
The 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament for the Northern qualifying round will be held at the University of Science and Technology (Hanoi) with the participation and competition of 16 football teams representing the Trade Unions of provinces, cities, and central trade unions in the Northern region and will be held from October 3 to 5 in Hanoi.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc - Vice President of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor said that the two teams of the Bac Ninh 1 Trade Union and the Bac Ninh 2 Trade Union, representing 579,000 union members in the province, entered the tournament with careful preparation and high determination, especially with the attention of the provincial leaders, relevant departments and branches, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the players of the two teams demonstrated beautiful technical playing style, strictly followed the competition discipline of the Coaching Committee and all passed the qualifying round to participate in the Final Round.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc, this is a reward for the efforts of the players and the coaching staff, but also affirms the growth of the sports movement in the province.
"The above results are the efforts of the coaching staff and each individual player, especially the attention of provincial leaders and departments in the province; the attention of business leaders has always paid attention to and created conditions for the players to work and time to represent the two teams for union members, workers and civil servants participating in the tournament", Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc acknowledged.
From October 29 to November 2, two teams of the Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union participated in the Final Round in Ho Chi Minh City. This will be a playground where the two teams of the Bac Ninh Trade Union will continue to meet strong teams from the Central and Southern regions. This event is not only sporty and health-enhancing, but also a valuable opportunity for union members and workers in Bac Ninh to exchange, learn, and demonstrate the dynamic and united image of the province's workers and civil servants in the national arena.
Mr. Pham Van Thinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province expressed that both of the Bac Ninh Trade Union teams entering the Final round is the pride and honor of Bac Ninh province.
Considering this a rare competition opportunity in the life of every worker and civil servant, Mr. Pham Van Thinh said that the players need to focus and compete with the highest determination, confident in their abilities to achieve the best results, competing for the flag and shirt, for the homeland of Bac Ninh.
Mr. Pham Van Thinh also advised the players to be united and have a high team spirit; at the same time, the coaching staff needs to prepare carefully in terms of tactics in each match so that the two teams can go to the final match of the tournament.
Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation thanked the provincial leaders for their attention and sponsorship from businesses. According to Mr. Thach Van Chung, the ceremony is an opportunity to jointly recognize and affirm the determination of the two teams participating in the Final Round to achieve the best results, meeting the expectations of union members and workers in the province.
Mr. Thach Van Chung wished the athletes to be determined to compete for the flag and shirt color, continue writing a new history, and contribute to creating a value of the new Bac Ninh province.
Mr. Thach Van Chung also hopes to continue to receive more attention from the provincial leaders for the two teams so that the Provincial Labor Federation can create conditions for the players to have the most comfortable spirit and compete most successfully.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor awarded the Certificate of Enterprise for Workers to 5 enterprises that sponsored the 2 teams.
