JMT VN Company Limited is a Korean FDI enterprise, operating the production of electronic circuit boards with a capacity of 54 million products/year. Currently, the number of workers working at the factory is 1,250 people. The company's trade union has promoted its role as a representative, caregiver and defender of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
Every year, the union proposes that enterprises perform well the work of occupational safety and hygiene, taking care of workers' health; 100% of union members and workers working at enterprises receive periodic health check-ups, and more than 300 workers working in positions are entitled to toxic allowances.
100% of workers receive training on labor and fire prevention and fighting twice a year; organize welfare visits for 1,127 union members with an amount of 287,200,000 VND; give gifts for all holidays to union members with an amount of 2.4 billion VND. During Tet, grassroots trade unions coordinated with higher-level trade unions to support bus tickets for more than 300 union members with an amount of 66 million VND; gave gifts to 42 union members from poor and near-poor households with an amount of 37 million VND...
The work of building a strong trade union organization has been directed with attention. The rate of workers participating in trade unions at enterprises is 99% for formal workers. From the above outstanding achievements, for 3 consecutive years the company has been awarded the "Enterprise for Workers" medal and many Comprehensive and thematic Certificates of Merit by the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor.
At the conference, the Trade Union of JMT VN Company Limited introduced the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and Inspection Committee for the third term, 2025 - 2030, Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh to hold the position of Trade Union Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Van Vi to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Company's Trade Union.
