On November 5, Working Group No. 2 of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a conference to approve congress documents and grassroots trade union conferences (CDCS) for the 2025 - 2030 term for units in emulation clusters No. 6 and 7 (CDCS, trade unions located in Long Xuyen).
Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Pham Van Dang - Head of Working Group No. 2 - chaired the conference. Also attending were professional departments and leaders of grassroots unions in the clusters.
At the conference, the professional departments of the Provincial Federation of Labor gave specific instructions on how to develop congress and conference documents; deploy forms (voting documents).
Delegates discussed, exchanged, and asked for opinions on many contents such as: personnel work (in the form of trust or balance); building congress and conference programs; financial work, the list of documents and records...
Speaking at the conference, Vice President of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Pham Van Dang highly appreciated the democratic and open spirit of grassroots union officials in preparation work. Mr. Dang said that according to the instructions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the personnel plan of the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee must have a balance of 10 - 15%. However, for grassroots unions with few union members, the arrangement of personnel with a balance is difficult; therefore, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor allows grassroots unions to consider the option of not having a balance, but still encourage the implementation in accordance with regulations to ensure democracy.
Working Group No. 2 also noted that some units have prepared good documents, but there are still many grassroots unions that have not completed or have errors in content and form. The leaders of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor requested units to promptly supplement and complete to keep up with the progress.

It is known that the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor currently manages 785 grassroots unions and trade unions. The Provincial Federation of Labor has established 2 working groups to monitor and direct congresses and conferences, and at the same time provide comprehensive guidance on grassroots trade union activities. In particular, Working Group No. 2 was assigned to be in charge of 339 grassroots trade unions, including 77 units organizing congresses (over 100 union members) and 262 conference organizing units (under 100 union members).
Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Pham Van Dang emphasized: "There is not much time left to prepare for the congress. The grassroots trade unions need to take advantage of the direction of the Party Committee, closely coordinate with the government and employers to complete the organization of congresses and conferences in November, and the Provincial Federation of Labor will organize a provincial congress in mid-December 2025".
After the conference, the Working Group will develop 2 sets of sample documents (congress and conference) for the Trade Unions to refer to, effectively organize the work of the Congress and Conference of the Trade Unions for the 2025 - 2030 term.
