At the program, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai and members of the delegation visited, wished Tet, and attended the "Tet not far from home" program held at the boarding house of Mr. Duong Ngo Hung's family, Gia residential group and Luxshare-ICT Limited Liability Company (Van Trung), Chien village.
Directly giving lucky money and Tet gifts to 127 workers in the places he visited, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai inquired about the living conditions, work and thoughts of workers; sent to all union members and workers sincere greetings and best New Year wishes.
Provincial Party Secretary said that right in the first month of 2026, the province achieved many positive results in socio-economic development, notably attracting investment continues to flourish, budget revenue achieved positive results, creating an important foundation for implementing the goals of the year. Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai emphasized that in those common achievements, there is a very important contribution from the working class - those who directly produce, working hard day and night, contributing to the development of businesses and the province.
On the occasion of Tet and Spring, the province always pays attention to taking care of people's lives, especially the poor, policy families and workers. Together with levels, sectors, businesses and trade union organizations, many practical activities have been organized so that everyone and every household have a warm and fulfilling Tet.
Provincial Party Secretary shared that Tet reunion and family reunion are always something everyone wants, but due to work requirements, many workers have chosen to stay in Bac Ninh to celebrate Tet. Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai expressed sympathy and sharing with the difficulties and hardships and appreciated the sense of responsibility of workers.
In the atmosphere of preparing to welcome the new Spring, the Provincial Party Secretary wished workers to continue to consider Bac Ninh as their second homeland, celebrate Tet happily, warmly, and safely; strive to work and produce, and contribute more to the development of businesses and the province. The comrade believed that with the spirit of solidarity, effort and responsibility, the team of workers will continue to accompany Bac Ninh on the new development path, contributing to building the province to become increasingly rich, strong, and civilized.
It is known that in Tien Phong ward, there are currently nearly 1,000 boarding houses with more than 11,000 rooms; the number of workers staying is more than 28.5 thousand people, mainly in the provinces of: Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Son La. During the Binh Ngo Tet 2026, through review, more than 200 workers stayed to work to increase income and ensure production of enterprises.
