At the meeting, Mr. Nguyễn Phúc Linh - Chairman of the LĐLĐ province of Bến Tre - reviewed the tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union through 95 years of construction and development.
Based on this glorious tradition, in recent years, the trade unions at all levels in Bến Tre province have made efforts to implement well the function of caring for and representing, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
In the coming time, in addition to continuing to propagate and implement seriously the resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels, the Trade Union of Bến Tre province will continue to propagate deeply the viewpoints and policies of the Party, closely follow the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the People's Committee on the organization and activities of the Trade Union and the labor movement, pay attention to building the working class in terms of both quantity and quality; promote and innovate, improve the quality and effectiveness of the movements and patriotic emulation campaigns among workers, civil servants, and laborers in a practical and suitable manner.
At the same time, implement better the task of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Trade Union members, laborers to affirm that the Trade Union is a reliable basis for laborers.
On this occasion, the LĐLĐ province of Bến Tre awarded the commemorative medal "For the cause of building the Trade Union" to 65 leaders of cooperating units and Trade Union members in the cause of building the Trade Union and awarded the "July 28 Award" to 3 excellent Trade Union Chairmen in 2024.
In addition, the organizing committee also praised 95 outstanding Trade Union members and laborers in the Trade Union activities and labor movement and awarded 22 prizes to collectives and individuals who won the prize in the 2024 digital transformation knowledge contest. At the same time, visited and presented gifts to 9 Trade Union members who are war invalids working at state agencies and units in Bến Tre province.
