On March 27, the Binh Phuoc Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Binh Phuoc Provincial Police to organize propaganda on labor laws, trade unions and laws on road traffic order and safety.
The two units have disseminated information to about 400 union members and workers at Vietnam Fortune Technology International Company Limited, Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park, Dong Phu District, Binh Phuoc Province.
At the propaganda session, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dai - Head of the Professional Affairs Committee of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Federation of Labor - conveyed the basic contents about the position and role of trade unions; some notable new points of the Trade Union Law 2024.
Thereby, helping workers better understand the Trade Union organization, the rights and obligations that must be enjoyed. From there, strive to compete, work well, contributing to the successful implementation of the resolutions of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels.
Also at the program, Ms. Tran Thi Le Xuan - representative of the Traffic Police Department of Binh Phuoc Provincial Police - disseminated to workers about the role of traffic compliance; the contents of the Road Law, the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, and guiding documents for implementation; the situation of traffic compliance in the locality.
In addition, interacting with workers about some common basic mistakes of traffic participants such as: not wearing a helmet, running a red light, violating alcohol concentration, etc. Thereby, helping union members and workers raise awareness, strictly comply with Road Traffic regulations, and prevent violations and traffic accidents from occurring.
Also at the propaganda session, the units presented 400 leaflets to propagate the Law on Drug Prevention and Control; leaflets to propagate black credit, tricks, consequences and say no to black credit among workers.
